Summary

This course teaches educators how to use the SMART Board interactive whiteboard effectively for classroom use by creating SMART Notebook lessons geared toward student interaction. Teachers will learn how to improve learning outcomes for their students through technology integration of the core subject areas. Participants will learn everything from the basic set-up to the more advanced features of the SMART Board software as well as how to create interactive lessons. Teachers will have the ability to become TeqSmart SMART Board User Certified after this course is complete.

Participants Will Receive

• TeqSmart SMART Board User Certification
• Electronic version of the TeqSmart Learner Workbook
• Free resources via our interactive websites and ready-made lessons to help enhance student learning with the SMART Board
• 3 P-Credits to be used for salary differentials for NYC educators (optional).

Registration

Participants interested in P-Credits must register online at http://schools.nyc.gov/teachers/aspdp.  If you need any assistance, you can email  Andrew at andrewgrefig@tequipment.com (Long Island).

• If you are getting the P-Credits, there is a separate, non-refundable course fee of $100 (money order only, payable to “ASPDP”) that should be brought to the first class.
